  7. Integrated Permits & Inspections (IPI) is an automated record keeping system
  8. designed to assist community development officials in the management of
  9. contractor, permit, property, and inspection information. IPI provides a
  10. centralized database to manage functions such as the tracking of permit
  11. applications, contractor licensing, inspection scheduling and dispatching, fee
  12. calculation (including impact fees), permit generation, and cash receipts
  13. processing. Flexible reporting features allow the user to extract data from any
  14. module of the IPI system to produce standard and ad-hoc reports. The user also
  15. has the flexibility to define many of his/her own data elements within the
  16. database.
